In the late 1980s, Charles Stukenborg began working as a civil engineer in Shelby County, Tennessee, laying out shopping centers and subdivisions. This interesting work gave him several years of experience in planning, drafting and actual hands-on civil engineering. Charles added to this knowledge in the 1990s by working as a trim carpenter in new homes. He was able to gain several years of experience and valuable training while trimming homes throughout the greater Memphis area. Charles’ attention to quality and detail on each job quickly led to other opportunities.
Moving to middle Tennessee in 2002 opened up a new client base for Stukenborg Construction, as Charles branched out into new home construction, remodels and additions. Garage and attic conversions as well as free-standing garages and shops have also served several clients.
Building custom homes, remodeling existing homes, and adding beautiful additions have been Charles’ specialties for many years. The same attention to detail and timeliness on the job which served Charles well as a civil engineer and as a trim carpenter have pleased many customers across the state of Tennessee. Stukenborg Construction is ready to build your new home or adapt your existing home to your future needs.
